As a 2D Character Animator you work together with concept artists and game designers and breathe life into characters, shape and refine style and personality by creating details, effects and animations for them hand in hand with the programmer team.

What is your mission

• Create animation and effect story-/moodboards
• Create 2D frame by frame animations
• Create stunning visual 2D effects (particles, shaders, animations,…)
• Work and refine asset pipeline together with programmers and technical artists

What you bring

• Experience with animation software (Photoshop, Toon Boom, After Effects, Procreate …)
• Good feeling for stunning animations and effects
• Good eye for details, realism and how to bend it
• Good understanding of colors, perspectives and timing
• Good English skills
• Fun working in a small Indie team and take responsibility
• Give and receive feedback for our work
• Share knowledge and experiences with colleagues
• Willingness to learn, creativity, fun experimenting

What would be great

• Experience with Unity3D and Unity3D game development practices
• Experiences with bone animations
• Ideally you live in or near the Hamburg area
